I do see my own need to be right. Or if not right, at least heard correctly.
Actually I’m not so much caring about being right.
I just want to be understood. And valued Just As I am. Not in some abstract sense, but Actively Valued.
Like. Getting a comment, “Oh! I am like that too, but a little bit different also” or “What does it mean to be Actively Valued?” is one example of what makes me feel valued actively.
Getting some “you are spirit not body”, or “this is how you can fix yourself”, or “see the light by going in”, or “this is how you could change to be more understood”, comments is the opposite of active valueing – to me… for me.
